Susan Kregar

A native Tucsonan, prior to joining the ROTH team, Susan spent 15 years as executive director for construction trade associations representing the remodeling, pool & spa, walls & ceilings, concrete and tile & stone industries.  She was responsible for promoting the construction industry to consumers, government agencies and the media. Her career also includes working for advertising and public relations agencies where she wrote copy, placed media and created marketing strategies for a variety of clients and political campaigns. Susan spent three years in the marketing department during the redevelopment of Park Place Mall. She presented the plans to the community and coordinated communications and events to drive traffic to the mall during the construction period.

Susan graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Public Relations and an emphasis in Speech Communications. She earned her Certified Association Executive designation in 2017 and Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional designation in 2015. She has served on numerous state and national non-profit organizations’ boards of directors.

Susan holds a 1st rank purple belt (belt just below black) in 5-Animal Kung Fu and earned her Certified Yoga Instructor certification in 2009. She can take ya down, but she will do it with love and light.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, James, family and pets as well as reading, hiking, golf, and volunteering for animal welfare organizations.
