Salt River Project is the only in-state system of surface water thats contained to Arizona.  SRP's Hydroigist Andrew Volkmer explains his role and the history of SRP.

SRP's beginning dates back to 1902 when Teddy Roosevelt passed the Water Reclamation Act and the building of Roosevelt Dam.  Once the tallest masonry dam.
