Historian Kevin Schindler Lowell Observatory In Flagstaff  who is a geologist and paleontologist discusses his background plus his love of astronomy.

Arizona is rich is geology and dark skies for star gazing.

Flagstaff was the first International Dark Sky City.  

Lowell Observatory was built  in 1894 by Percevil Lowell overlooking  downtown on the hill in Flagstaff.  Kevin talks about Percevil Lowell's story.

Pluto was discovered at Lowell in 1930.

Citrus has been produced in Arizona since the early 1900's.  Citrus is one of the 5 'C's in Arizona including Cattle, Cotton, Copper and Climate.
