Here are some of our favorite callers from the last year.....
Callers:
- Audrey - She is blind and plants for scent ("and some flashy color plants to make the sighted folks feel good") Recently, she was given a gardenia plant and arabian jasmine plant. She wants tips on mixing her fertilizer and when does the jasmine plant bloom?
Recommendation - The jasmine should start blooming about now and go through the summer months. Usually, it's a table spoon per gallon with the brand she's talking about.
*Jay and Audrey talk about a few other plants she could use for scent that do well in this area.
- Lori - She has cracks in her foundation from the smaller earthquakes near Fountain Hills. At night now, she's hearing really load sounds.
Recommendation - We get a lot of this during this time of year. The big swings in temperatures during the day/night causes it. Rosie talks through warning signs with foundation issues, but she's probably okay.
- Chuck - His French Door out to his patio is creaking so badly he can't stand it! What could be causing it?!
Recommendation - He gives us the live sound effect throught the phone. It's hilarious and we can hear it perfectly! We investigate and he has oiled it and then even put graphite powder in it. It sounds like a hinge squeak and Rosie would take the pins out one at a time to find out which one is making the sound. One is in a bind and causing the noise. He might need to replace all of the hinges and start over.
