Callers:
- John - Drained some water from the water softener and now his orange tree isn't doing so hot.
Recommendation - Water very very slowly to try and flush some of the salt out of the soil. Try it again in a few weeks and it might take another season to recovery.
- Fran - She has a banana tree with a lot of dead leaves but the neighbors said it used to produce fruit. What can she do to make it thrive again?
Recommendation - It's a tropical fruit and has a hard time in Tucson because it's just a little too cool normally. Fertilize and treat it very very carefully.
