Check out Watters Garden in Prescott for the plant, and the display pots. Poinsettia’s are always an option. They can be outside during the day up North, but be sure to bring them right back in. They now come in a variety of colors and types.

Go ahead and get them in the ground – Phoenix cold isn’t too cold for the Bulbs.

Make it up to the Christmas City of Arizona.
Not too late to plant something – for up North, pansies and ornamental kale are great choices. In Phoenix, be sure to cover your more tropical plants.

Chinese Pistachio’s will give you good color with the changes of seasons. Check out the Arizona Pistachio Growers. You need to pollinate the Pistachio tree to get fruit.

You still need to water this time of year – below and above the rim. You can get by with ¼ of what you water in June-July.

Net Metering is not being off the grid - it's sending electricity back to the service provider and gaining credit.

- Why can't the electricity being sent back to the service provider help out the entire rate? Why a surcharge if you're contributing to the electricity?

- Collette - tile roof. installed solar panels, and now seem to be getting brown streaks on underside of ceiling.
Who is a good candidate for solar?
You need to be in contract for an install before December 31st, you will avoid the $0.17/ KW surcharge

Not at this time.
- Tom - being told he's not a candidate for solar because his bill is currently only $100/month

- If I were to lease solar panels, would the savings pay for the lease? Or should I just buy it, instead?
Recommendation: Proceed with caution! There are a lot of benefits to leasing, but it does leave the door open for deception and fraud if you choose the wrong company.
