Crumbled or cracked concrete next to your house’s foundation could be a sign of a problem.  The part of the house's foundation that you can see is the stem wall.  An integral part of the building’s structure.

Bob Brown, owner of Arizona Foundation Solutions walks us through stem wall failure and repair with a new technique Bob created:  The Never Rust Stem Wall Repair System.

Most homes sit on a concrete slab.  That slab is bounded by a stem wall.  A vertical concrete wall that goes down to a spread footing in the ground.  The base of the wall should extend 6-8 inches above the ground for termites, concrete cracks and rusted rebar.  Damage can affect the foundation's home.

Bob explains what happens when moisture intrudes rebar in concrete leading to rust.

Segment 2 (running time )

Listen to this segment

Bob's solution to replacing rusting rebar in concrete stem walls is installing composite rebar that doesn't rust.  Its the basis for his Never Rust System repair.

Composite rebar examples:  fiberglass, carbon fiber, basalt.

Bob's explains his detailed process replacing damaged stem walls with composite rebar.
