Landscapes are evolving and growing.  Trees are maturing into the landscape.

Tree pruning: deciduous trees in the winter, fruit trees in the spring, mesquite in the summer.

Lemon and limes: squeeze the juice and freeze as cubes.

Crepe Myrtle is a nice blooming tree that does well here.

Espalier:  A fruit tree or ornamental shrub whose branches are trained to grow flat against a wall, supported on a lattice or a framework of stakes.

CALLER:  Finding a crepe myrtle that suitable to our climate.  Consult local nurseries for trees that are right for the climate.

Chill Hours:  Number of hours below 40 degrees for trees to bear fruit.  Look for ones for 150-200 requirement range for Arizona.
