Due to interruption from the Presidental election last week, we follow up on questions on dishwashers.

EMAIL:  Doesn't use the heat function on the dishwasher when it runs at night.  Dishes are clean in the morning.  Is that OK?  

EMAIL:  Do I have to use the heat dry cycle to sanitize my dishes and utinsels?  Rosie explains how dishwashers sanitize.

CALLER:  In the winter, the cold and hot water in the home is fine.  In the summer, the hot is fine but the cold is lukewarm to hot.  Can't figure out why that's happening. 

CALLER:  Had a water heater burst.  The repair person said the cause was that water heater doesn't work with soft water.  Never heard of such a thing.  Is that true?
