5 components to build healthy soil. Besides creating healthy soil for gardens and trees, there's another advantage for dirt backyards.
Advantages to making shade during the hot months. Keeping the ground cool around your tree basin by planting sweet potatoes and cowpeas adds to the natural shade from the tree.
Gardening is good metal therapy, great exercise and pride in growing your own food.
Discussion of how to water your garden. Automation irrigation timers. Avoiding drip systems and overhead sprinklers. Greg explains the most effective way is drip tape and how it works.
For trees, using bubblers instead of drip irrigation is more effective for deep watering. Greg explains another option: a drip ring.
