The APS rate change has caused many to wait until after 8pm to cool the house down and eat dinner.  Eating late can lead to weight gain.

Katie has some eating suggestions for a busy lifestyle starting with veggies.  Brocolli, brussel sprouts and more made in many ways.

Cotton growing in Arizona with Julie of Arizona Farm Bureau and Paco Ollerton, Cotton farmer from Tierra Verde Farms.

Paco discusses growing cotton with less water providing a better yield.  Compares other parts of the country growing cotton.

The quality of Arizona cotton is great using a good quality seed.  But its a tough crop to grow.

Cotton is a fruit because the bolls contain seeds.

Cotton seed crushed is a protein used in animal feed.  Cotton Seed Oil is a chef's favorite because of its high flashpoint.

Arizona cotton yield per acre is higher with less growing acres.

The majority of Arizona cotton is exported but comes back manufactured in many ways like shirts and jeans.

Paco visited manufacturing places including Indonesia and Vietnam and seen US cotton used in their process.
