Here are Five of Rosie’s favorite quick and easy recipes for green, homemade cleaners that we’ve sourced from around the Web.  Most of these can be made with products you already have in your home!    

1) All Purpose Cleaner
General cleanup for hard counter and glass surfaces
Ingredients:
1-cup white, distilled vinegar
1-cup water
(Optional – Add a drop or two of essential scented oils)
Instructions: Add both to a spray bottle and shake well.  Note: The vinegar smell will disperse quickly.

2) All-Purpose Deodorizer
Deodorize and rid the fridge and kitchen of peculiar odors
Ingredients:
2-tablespoons baking soda
2-cups water
Instructions: Mix both ingredients well, soak a sponge or rag in the solution and wipe away.

3) Glass Cleaner
Quick and easy glass cleaner
Ingredients:
4-cups water
1-cup white, distilled vinegar
2 to 3 drops of your favorite essential oil
Instructions:  Add ingredients to a spray bottle and shake it up. The essential oils will leave your home smelling fresh and clean

4) Garbage Disposal Freshener
Cures stinky garbage disposal odors
Ingredients:
1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges
Instructions:  Turn on garage disposal with COLD water running through it.  Add each of the four lemon wedges one at a time until each has been disposed of completely.
Note: Be sure to also fully clean the underside of the rubber splash flap and deodorize with 2-and-2 above.

5) Bathtub Ring Cleaner
Rids your tub of unsightly rings
Ingredients:
1-part white, paste toothpaste (NOT GEL)
1-part baking soda
Instructions:  Mix ingredients well, apply to damp cloth and scrub the rings away. Buff and wipe away the residual with a dry clean rag.
