AZT In A Day Print

Join us on Saturday October 12th, 2019, as we hike, run, bike, or ride the Arizona national Scenic Trail to collectively complete the 800-mile trail in a single day!

For 25 years, tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts have joined the Arizona Trail Association in building, maintaining and enhancing the AZT. On this special anniversary celebration, no matter how far you hike, run or ride, we'll walk together with the Arizona Trail community to encounter unique experiences, a connection to nature, and much more.

The trail has been divided into exactly 100 sections, ranging from 2.1 to 15.6 miles in length. Individuals will have 24 hours to complete their section of trail. As you chose a section, please take note of areas that require at least a day before the actual event to arrive at that location. Because of Arizona's rugged terrain and climate, and because several access points require 4-wheel drive or high clearance vehicles, participants will need to be well prepared and plan ahead.
